Tori touched so many hearts in such a short time with her fun ways and her superb sense of humour and bore her illness so bravely, never complaining and always with a smile on her lovely face and a sparkle in her eyes. So many people remember her with so much fondness.
Emily and Tori were good buddies and had lots of fun together and Emily wanted to do something in memory of Tori and to raise funds for “Hammer Out” Brain Tumours, a local registered charity who gave so much support to Katie, Gerard, George & Tori
Hammer Out is a charity that was set up to raise awareness of brain tumours, and the needs of those affected by them as well as raising money for brain and cancer related charities. Hammer Out would like people experiencing the shock and bewilderment of the diagnosis of brain tumours to know that they are not alone and have others to turn to.
Tori loved her swimming, as Emily does. So Emily is going to do a sponsored swim at Wellington Sports Centre on Saturday 16th February at 3.30pm. She is hoping to swim 50 lengths of the pool (1.25 km in distance)
Please would you be good enough to help Emily to remember Tori by kindly sponsoring her swim. Contact the Hammer Out office for details of how to sponsor Emily.
