Jeff Pead If you feel able to sponsor Jeff then please contact him at jeffrey.pead@hds.com or donate online here ![]() I have been a casual runner for several years now, and have a wife and 2 teenagers to stay healthy for. 6 years ago I had the idea to try and "do" a marathon so started applying for the London. This year I have been lucky and have been accepted. It will not my 1st marathon as I completed the "Paris" 3 years ago in my 50th year on this earth. I will be 53 when I compete in this years London Marathon. I am not expecting to break any records but hope to complete it in 4.5 hours without injury, and in the process raise at least £2000 for my efforts in training and in completing the 26.2 mile distance and donate it all to "HAMMER OUT" the brain tumour charity. My simple philosophy is "I will find it hard but the people I will be running for cannot even get out of bed and all wish they could if all they had to do was run 26.2 miles". ALSO:- My official running number is 6718. Using this my progress and result can be monitored on the official web site, www.london-marathon.co.uk |
Ed MacLaren If you feel able to sponsor Ed then please visit his JustGiving site at www.justgiving.com/maclaren ![]() I know this is cheap generic begging but please see past that. I am raising for Hammer Out - a really worthwhile Bristol based brain tumour charity. I realise that you are probably being pestered by family members and other friends to give money for other causes but please remember no amount is too small. Donating through my JustGiving site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Hammer Out will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. Many many thanks and I will run as fast as possible |
