Paul's Place is a small retreat centre offering B&B accommodation with self catering facilities located in Georgeham near Croyde on the North Devon coast. As "The Old Bakery" it is open to the general public, but as "Paul's Place" it provides somewhere special for young adults, their close family and friends, to have a much needed break in a caring environment following bereavement, diagnosis of a terminal or life threatening illness, or due to having a significant caring role for a family member. |

The International Brain Tumour Alliance (IBTA) was established during the conference of the World Federation of Neuro Oncology held at Edinburgh (UK) in May 2005. gaps:line (Gunn Appeal Parent Support) is a telephone support line for parents and carers of children with cancer. It is not a medical helpline, but provides emotional support. Staffed by a trained team of volunteer parents, all of whom have had a child with cancer, the line is currently open from 8pm to 10pm, seven days a week. The line is open to calls from concerned grandparents, relatives and friends too. Call on 0845 121 4277 |
