Every donation is worth more with Gift Aid.

Since Hammer Out became a registered charity in 2003 we have been able to reclaim 28p for every £1 which is donated to us either through sponsorship or through general donations. Our recent Inland Revenue audit resulted in us receiving over £5000 from the chancelor in our Gift Aid rebate. We have also received an additional £2000 in Gift Aid from JustGiving. These are fantastic bonuses to the charity.

 We have recently updated our Gift Aid form. If you haven't done so already, we would be really grateful if you could complete and return this to the office so that any donations from the previous 6 years and for the future can be claimed for.

 If you are planning a sponsored event then a well completed sponsorship form can bring us in literally £1,000’s in extra income. However unless they are correctly filled in we are unable to claim a penny! Our Hammer Out sponsorship form can be downloaded here.

Finally we would like to say a huge thank you to everybody involved whether it is running a marathon or donating pocket money. Every single penny counts! An example of the benefit of Gift Aid would be Andy Mitchell, who ran the London Marathon last April in memory of his brother Paul. Andy raised £6452.20 in sponsorship and this generated a Gift Aid claim of £1174.80 which made his grand total a mammoth £7627.
