National

JustGiving provides individual fundraisers with an easy way to raise serious money for charity quickly, tax-efficiently and online. They provide you with a personal fundraising web page, helping you to build your page in a few minutes. Then you e-mail your friends - they donate by credit or debit card, you watch the total grow and the money is sent straight to your chosen charity (us!). JustGiving will reclaim the tax for you through the Gift Aid scheme before they pass the donations to us.

JustGiving charges a small transaction fee on every donation made on this website. The fee is currently 5% of the gross donation, which is the donation plus any tax reclaimed under Gift Aid. This means that, when a donation is made by a UK taxpayer, the charity receives approximately £12 for every £10 donated, which makes JustGiving one of the most efficient methods of making a donation. When a donation is not eligible for tax reclaim, the 5% fee applies to the donation alone.

International

Charity Challenge is the UK's leading adventure travel company specializing exclusively in the organisation, leadership and administration of inspirational fundraising expeditions. There are nearly forty different challenges to choose from including treks, mountain bike rides, mountain climbs, white water rafting, sailing, horse riding and Community Challenge expeditions. The challenges take place in Africa, the Caribbean, Asia, Europe, the Americas and the Middle East. Click here for more info and to start your challenge.

Discover Adventure Open Challenges are a no risk way of raising money for Hammer Out. They are organised by Discover Adventure and all the administration is done by them; anyone can come on these trips, raising money for the charity of your choice (us!). 60% of the money raised goes straight to Hammer Out.

The most popular Open trips are Peru, China and Kilimanjaro as the ‘ultimate’ trip! London to Paris is by far the most popular cycle challenge; they took over 100 people on our June challenge last year! Click here for more info and to start your adventure.
