HAMMER OUT FAMILY FUN DAY
Sunday 17th September, 2006
The Chantry, Castle Street, Thornbury, South Glos.
Since its launch as a charity in March 2004, Hammer Out has grown in size and now has a large number of people who have made contact with us as a result of a family member or friend being diagnosed with a brain tumour.
Following the success of the support group meetings, we have realized how much you have gained by meeting others in similar situations. We would like to extend this by having a Family Fun Day where everyone can meet together.
The Hammer Out Family Fun Day is free and will run from 1.00 – 5.00 pm on Sunday 17th September. There will be a BBQ and refreshments throughout the day and we have also arranged for the bar to remain open all afternoon; we are however unable to fund drinks purchased from the bar. There will be face painting and other activities for the children to do, all in the setting of the beautiful garden. A marquee will be available to provide protection from the sun (or rain!) if needed. Please bring your own picnic chair or rug to sit on. There will also be live music for your entertainment.
Please contact Anne Coles, Support Co-ordinator by Friday 1st September if you wish to attend the Fun Day. We look forward to seeing you there!
