The HAMMER OUT BBQ held at Perry's Cider Mill on Sunday 17th July was a tremendous success following a lot of hard work from lots of people.

A hot, sunny day brought approximately 250 people to the idylic setting of Perry's Cider Mill, near Ilminster in aid of Hammer Out Brain Tumours. The day raised £3,400.10. More details to follow in our Autumn Newsletter.

However, Karen and Olly Brister, together with their family and many, many friends have collctively raised £7,600.98 for the charity. This tremendous figure has been achieved through the support of their friends and family who have got involved in fundraising events, which have included golf, a fun run, the Paris and London Marathons and various donations from local businesses and friends.

Karen and Olly Brister are well known in Ilminster and the support and encouragement that they have received since Karen was diagnosed with a brain tumour has been immense.
